Welcome
The Foundation for Autism Research and Education is a non-profit organization that was founded on October 2, 2007. The organization is led by some devoted parents of individuals with autism and some philanthropists in society. FARE helps persons with autism to achieve their potential.
Autism is a lifelong condition with no cure, but the difficulties can significantly be managed through intervention at an early age. According to the World Health Organization, autism is estimated to affect around 10% of any population. Special education and training can help people with autism progress socially, physically, emotionally, and intellectually.
Keeping that in mind, FARE works for children with autism by providing proper care, service, and rehabilitation. The elite people of society are members of the executive committee as the governing body in the organization. The Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong is the president of the organization.
History of FARE
Foundation for Autism Research and Education is a parent-based organization founded on October 2, 2007. At present, autism is one of the major health crises in Bangladesh. People know about the term autism, but very few people know about its consequences. Autism is a lifelong issue that needs proper care, service and rehabilitation in Bangladesh.
There is no definite system of special education. Parents of this foundation felt the need to establish an institution where autistic children may go for education. It was founded by parents and, to date, is funded by parents and some philanthropists of society. The Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong is, by post, the president of this organization. Elites of society as well as general people are its members, and it has an executive committee for its governing mechanism.
